Description Great air-popped taste without the wait! Treat yourself to fresh, delicious popcorn—without the fat—with this microwave popcorn popper. Pops with hot air, not oil, for a healthier, low-calorie snack in minutes. Simply add kernels, then microwave.

It’s that easy! Butter melting lid has a silicone rim with a stainless mesh basket that melts butter directly onto corn while popping. A delicious alternative to store-bought microwave popcorn!

Betty Crocker Movie Night Popcorn Maker Manual

Made in the USA of 100% borosilicate glass. Dishwasher safe; 2.5-quart capacity. (10'W x 7½'H) ' I purchased one then I bought one for a friend & they loved it!!! Makes great popcorn & is very easy to use.' -Customer in Vermont.

I am on online shopper, and read the reviews before I bought this, because it is pricey. But, since organic popcorn is a staple in my diet and hard to find packaged (although Full Circle makes a good one, with oil though), I decided to get it. What I found out: (1)Pops quickly - you need to watch it and err on the side of ending a little early, or it scortches the whole batch super fast. Just hang out and watch and you'll be fine. (2) Don't even try to use oil, it doesn't work well.

Butter on top needs to be in separated pats, or it melts too slowly, like with the Stir Crazy popper. (3) This cleans up easily, but be VERY VERY paranoid! If you've used borosilicate before (Bodum mugs, etc.), you know what I mean. (4) Mine had a tiny crack where the handle attached, and I thought it would be fine, and just avoided picking it up by handle (I hate returning stuff). But, with each use, it 'crazed' all along the handle, and now I'm too afraid to use it anymore. I basically got ten uses out of it, then threw it away last night.

Hence this review. I would get a replacement, so obviously I did like it, but I can't afford to replace these if they are always that delicate. I might have gotten a faulty one though.

But my advice is, INSPECT these carefully when you unpack!!! Overall, if you're a popcorn lover who hates the chemicals and bizarre plastic taste of grocery brand microwave corn, this is worth it and you'll like it.
